Terms & Conditions


  1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.


  1. The promoter is Reckitt Benckiser (Australia) Pty Limited (ABN 17 003 274 655) of Reckitt Benckiser, Sydney, NSW, Australia. 680 George St, (World Square) 2000 Sydney, telephone 1800 022 046 (“Promoter”).


  1. The Promotion commences at 12.01am (AEDT) on 01/03/2018 and closes at 11.59pm (AEDT) on 31/03/2018.


  1. Entry is only open to Australian residents, 18 years and over, who are pharmacy assistants (‘Eligible Entrants’). Employees of the Promoter, its agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Immediate family members include any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.


  1. To enter, Eligible Entrants must complete and email the FeverSmart Promotion Postscript entry form to FeverSmart.Competition@rb.com including their answers to the 3 multiple choice questions, and tell us in 25 words or less ‘Why FeverSmart™ Temperature Monitor by Nurofen® for Children is an appropriate temperature monitoring solution for new parents’. Only one entry per Eligible Entrant is permitted. Only entries with all 3 multiple questions answered correctly will be entered in the judging.


  1. The Promoter will not be responsible for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, lost, misdirected, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter for any reason by the relevant closing date, including any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with telecommunications services.


  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.


  1. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.


  1. There will be 15 winners chosen by a judging panel based on the creativity of the answer. The judging will take place at 2.00pm (AEDT) on 06/04/2018 at MDSA, 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089. The winners will be notified by phone and email within 2 business days of the judging. The winners’ names will be published on http://nurofen.com.au/feversmart-competition-winners/ from 10/04/2018 for a period of 28 days.


  1. The Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.


  1. The winners will receive a Westfield Gift Card, valued at $100. The maximum retail value of the prize pool is $100. Supplier conditions apply.


  1. The Promoter reserves the right to re-judge in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these promotion Terms & Conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. If the prize remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise by 06/07/2018, the Promoter will award the prize to the entry deemed to be the next best entry. The winner(s) will be notified in writing immediately. The winner(s) names will be published on http://nurofen.com.au/feversmart-competition-winners/ from 08/07/2018 for a period of 28 days.


  1. If for any reason the prize offered is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a prize of similar theme and equivalent value.


  1. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any personal injury, any loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of opportunity and loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where such liability may arise out of the following:


  • any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
  • any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
  • any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after its receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
  • any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions;
  • any tax liability incurred by a prize-winner or participant; or
  • use of the prize.


  1. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the Competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.


  1. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, communication network, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise, any injury or damage to entries or to participants’ or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this Promotion. If the Promotion is not capable of being conducted due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, including due to any technical or communications problems, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion subject to approval from any relevant authority.

  2. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same terms and conditions subject to state legislation.


  1. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a prize-winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.


  1. Entries remain the property of the Promoter. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.
